1. Value yourself

If you want deep and loving romantic relationship, you have to position yourself like someone who is truly worthy of receiving them. This means saying no to one sided/friend zone situations, breadcrumbs, mixed signals, casual dating, being a backup, toxic relationships, etc

2. Mixed signals don't exist

Mixed signals are mixed signals only when you are desperate enough to consider them mixed signals — otherwise, they are deal breakers. If someone is not sure about you, then it is what it is. The fear of being alone is not an enough reason to stay in an unhealthy relationship.

3. Stop trying to fix toxic relationships 

If you keep trying to save toxic relationships, you don't have relationship issues; you have self worth, and attachment issues. Take accountability for that so you can reform your relationship with yourself. 

4. Be honest with your feelings 

When you want someone romantically, your friendship with them is a fraud. Staying friends with someone in hopes that one day they get romantically interested in you, is one of the greatest forms of self abandonment. Learn to walk away when what is being offered to you isn't in alignment with what you truly want instead of waiting on the sidelines. That signals high self worth and self respect, and they’re the right one, they’ll learn to value, and treat you better!

5. Match words with actions

If you want to know someone's true intentions about you, look for congruence between their words and actions over a significant period of time. People ultimately reveal themselves. You don't have to be cynical in the beginning but you also don't have to be naively optimistic.

6. Accept reality

When someone tells you that they aren't looking for relationship, it is not your job to educate them on the beauty of love and relationships. Your job is to accept their unavailability, and give them space.

Summary: Attracting the right partner starts with yourself. Work on yourself, and love yourself fiercely. Sometimes, what we’re looking for, comes when we stop looking. We just hope to be ready to handle it when we receive it.
