8 Things You Share With Others That You Shouldn't
Hey guys, so you may or may not know these personal stuff you shouldn't share with anyone. I mean they are things we probably feel like there's no harm in letting someone else use, right?
My close friends know that I get irritated easily when some of my personal stuff are manhandled.
When it comes to my toiletries, I hardly share too (like my soap, and bathing sponge). Sometimes when I visit my friends, and I probably forgot my sponge, they'll be like 'you can use mine', and I'll be like "eww (while giving them that huh look), I'll rather shower without sponge".

Well, I wasn't wrong after all because I learnt some personal stuff you shouldn't share with anyone. Want to learn too? Let's get started.
1. SOAP BARS
Argh, I just hate when soap bars are messy. I know by now you already thinking I have so many principles? Well, do you know that after each bath, the bar soap is covered with various organisms from your body, ranging from the harmless ones to the serious ones called pathogens. It's even worse when the soap is in a wet dish because moisture makes it easier for bacteria, fungi, and viruses to grow. As a result, Community-Associated Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus(CA-MRSA) - a bacteria that causes serious infections may occur.
Clippers pose a risk because they're used where fungus hide out on your fingers, toes, and soles of your feet. Sharing them could lead to nail fungus or even types of Human papillomavirus infection that cause plantar warts.
4. TOOTHBRUSHES
Do people actually do this? I mean share toothbrushes? Smirks
Yo, everyone knows this already, right? Any small cut that leads to bleeding can actually lead to infections like HIV. It's better to get your own personal clipper than to share. But if you must use the ones in barbing salons, please ensure your barber sterilizes them first.
6. EARRINGS
When you poke an earring through your ear, you may make a little break in the skin, allowing viruses from the previous wearer to enter, and this could lead to ear infections. I guess most females are used to sharing earrings, but this is a no.
Hopefully when my friends read this, they'll understand why I'm skeptical about sharing my makeup brushes, beauty blender, lipsticks, etc. Not like I don't trust any of y'all though; winks
8. EARPHONES
I promise you, this is one thing I hate sharing the most, and I cringe when I see others do so. There was this time I gave someone my earphone, and when he returned it, there was earwax on it. That was the day I decided never to give it out again.
Sharing is caring

Side note : I studied microbiology 😉
2. DRINKS AND CUPS
Sharing same cup and water bottle with a friend leads to saliva swapping which isn't a very good thing. The germs that cause Strep throat, Cold, Herpes, Mono, Mumps, and even Meningitis can all be exchanged through saliva. But if you kissing them, why not? Shrugs
3. NAIL CLIPPERS

Please this is a NO. Always have extra toothbrushes for visitors in your house. You can get infections from those bristles - if there's any small amount of bleeding.
5. HAIR CLIPPERS

Ps, I dislike touching someone else's earrings. I remember one time I went to get one of my new SIM cards activated, I was given an earring by one of the security officers to push my SIM tray open, and I kept staring at the earring - wondering if they took it off someone's ear, or they bought it just for that purpose.
I know you wondering if I used it or not? Lol
7. MAKEUP AND MAKEUP BRUSHES

You should never share your lipstick nor lip gloss. Virus gets mixed with the mouth's mucous membrane and can easily be transmitted.
I can only let you use my lip gloss on your lips if I'm almost certain that I can let you give me a peck on my lips; otherwise, please kindly squeeze it on your finger, and apply to your lips. Thank you.

Every person has a unique bacterial flora in earwax, and when you share your earphones with your friend, this balance gets disrupted. You can also provoke an ear infection.
Okay, just imagine cleaning your ear with cotton bud, and passing it to your friend to use. I know right!
